Government Women College (GWC) Parade organised Farewell 2019 in Jammu bidding farewell to passing out students. A gala musical event was organised in collaboration of ‘Beats Band’, Jammu and students participated with full fervor.
In an emotionally surcharged atmosphere the current students bid adieu to their seniors and organised musical extravaganza and a modelling competition on the occasion. Current students organised various dance and singing competition expressing their love and respect towards seniors who passed out of the college.
The hall mark of the event was the modelling competion from various streams of college. Mis Science, Ms Commerce, and Ms Arts were bagged by Anjali, Akanksha, Pamita respectively. On this occasion Aanan ( only girl in j&k selected for para jumping ) , Anjani ( in the feild of literature ) , College president Prateeksha Sharma ( for being all rounder) and Sonali ( NSS Commander) were awarded by the college administration. The title of Miss Parade was bagged by Miss Himani Kotwal
.The event concluded with the principal of the college Dr. Hemla Aggrawal blessing the students wishing them a bright future and success in all the ventures they undertake. The program was organised by Ms Sanpreet and her team.
