Three people have been arrested during a raid after 275-kilogram of poppy straw was recovered along with over Rs 3 lakh in cash, police said on Monday.
R Singh, SDPO Border told ANI: “During a regular checking, 55-kilogram poppy straw was recovered from a car. Upon investigation, a raid was conducted in the area and a further 220 kg of poppy straw and Rs 3,22,260 in cash were also recovered. ”
“Three people have been arrested,” he added.
