Nowshera forest division conducts plantation drive under one beat guard one village programme

A plantation drive under the aegis of “One Beat Guard One Village” was today conducted here at village Upper Bhajwal of Sunderbani Range.

Sat Pal Sharma, Sarpanch Upper Bhajwal-B and PRI members besides villagers took part in the drive.

Beat Guard, Ishan Raina conducted the drive with the help of Block Forest Officer, S. Rangeel Singh and other staff members. A number of fruit, medicinal and fodder plants were planted on the occasion. Plants and seed balls of grass and fruits were also distributed among the participants.

Sarpanch and PRI members thanked B. Mohandas Conservator of Forests West Circle Rajouri, Suresh Manda, Divisional Forest Officer Nowshera and Rakesh Verma Range Officer Sunderbani who organised this drive to generate awareness among villagers about the importance of forest, soil and its direct relation with the rainfall and other climatic factors which directly influence the farm productivity. The drive was arranged by Ishan Raina Beat Guard Sunderbani with active participation of his staff members

The whole drive was conducted under the direct supervision of B. Mohandas, Conservator of Forests West Circle Rajouri and Suresh Manda, Divisional Forest Officer Nowshera.
