Austria imposes nationwide lockdown following massive spike in Covid-19 cases

Early today Austria went into nationwide lockdown for all. First European Union  country to take such stringent measures as coronavirus cases surge. Restaurants and most shops are closed and larger events canceled. The measures are expected to last for a maximum of 20 days but will be re-evaluated after 10 days.
As Covid-19 cases surge across the continent other European countries are also tightening restrictions.
