IND vs NZ first Cricket Test: New Zealand starts steady game, India bowled out for 345 runs

In the Kanpur cricket test, New Zealand were 23 for 0 against India in their first innings post-lunch session of second day at the Green Park Stadium when reports last came in.

Earlier India were bowled out for 345 runs in their first innings. Debutant Shreyas Iyer, top-scored for Team India with his maiden century and was supported well by Ravindra Jadeja. The duo added 121 runs for the fifth wicket after the team was reduced to 145/4 in the second session of Day 1.

For New Zealand, Tim Southee and Kyle Jamieson were the standout performers with the ball as they picked eight wickets combined. Southee brought New Zealand back in the game with his 13th five-wicket haul while Jamieson picked three wickets on a spin-friendly track.
