World Health Organization WHO chief warned that a mix of low vaccination coverage and low testing rates are creating fertile breeding ground for new Covid variants. WHO Director-General Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus has also said that blanket travel bans will not prevent the spread of Omicron variant of coronavirus and they place a heavy burden on lives and livelihoods.
