IND vs NZ: India 258/6 in 2nd day of final test match in Mumbai

In the second and final Cricket Test match between India and New Zealand in Mumbai, the hosts were 258 for the loss of 6 wickets when the reports last came in on the second day today.

Opting to bat first after the delayed start due to wet patches on the outfield and the pitch, the Indian openers added 80 runs for the first wicket before Ajaz Patel took three wickets in consecutive overs to bring New Zealand back in the game.

Mayank Agarwal’s unbeaten century knock was the highlight of the Indian innings, Shubman Gill contributed 44 runs while Wriddhiman Saha added 27 and Shreyas Iyer 18 runs. For the visitors, Ajaz Patel scalped six wickets.
