Oil prices climb more than three percent

Oil prices today climbed more than three percent after OPEC said it would review supply additions ahead of its next scheduled meeting if the Omicron variant dents demand. However, prices were still on course for a sixth week of declines. In intra-day trade, Brent crude was trading around 72 dollars and 10 cents per barrel while WTI crude prices were at 68 dollars and 40 per barrel.
