In Tamilnadu, Chief Justice Munishwarnath Bhandari was sworn in as Chief Justice of Madras High Court today. State Governor R.N.Ravi administered the oath to him at Raj Bhavan this morning.
Tamilnadu Chief Minister M.K.Stalin, State Ministers, Opposition leader Edappadi Palanisamy, former Chief Minister O.Panneerselvam, State Assembly Speaker Appavu, Justices of the High Court and other top officials of the State Government were present on the occasion.
Chief Justice Munishwarnath Bhandari was appointed to the Madras High Court after the transfer of Justice Sanjib Banerjee to the Meghalaya High Court in November last year.
