Fire Breaks Out At Police Housing Corporation Headquarters In Srinagar, Three Rooms Damaged
Srinagar, August 25: A fire broke out at the Jammu and Kashmir Police Housing Corporation Headquarters in the Peerbagh area of Srinagar on Tuesday, damaging three rooms, officials said.
The fire reportedly broke out on the fourth floor of the building. Fire and Emergency Services personnel rushed to the spot and launched an operation to bring the blaze under control.
The firefighters managed to contain the fire before it could spread to other parts of the building. Three rooms on the fourth floor were damaged in the incident.
No loss of life or injuries have been reported so far. The cause of the fire is being ascertained, and further details are awaited.
