Security forces apprehended two suspected terror associates during a joint search operation in Pulwama district on Tuesday. The operation was carried out by Jammu and Kashmir Police along with Army personnel and the Central Reserve Police Force following intelligence inputs.
During the operation, the security teams intercepted two suspects and conducted a search. One pistol, 12 rounds of ammunition and a hand grenade were recovered from their possession, officials said.
The two suspects have been taken into custody, and a case has been registered under relevant provisions of law. Further investigation is underway to determine their activities and possible links with terror networks.
Security forces said the operation was part of ongoing efforts to identify and disrupt suspected terror activities in the region.
