Two Indian nationals were arrested by Nepal Police after they were allegedly found in possession of brown sugar during a security operation in Nepal. The arrests were made as part of ongoing efforts by law enforcement agencies to combat drug trafficking and narcotics-related crimes in the region.
According to police officials, the two individuals were intercepted during a routine checking operation carried out by security personnel. Upon conducting a search, officers recovered a quantity of brown sugar, a narcotic substance, from their possession. The contraband was subsequently seized and the suspects were taken into custody.
Authorities stated that preliminary investigations are underway to determine the source of the narcotics and the circumstances under which the accused came into possession of the substance. Investigators are also examining whether the suspects have any links to larger drug trafficking networks operating across international borders.
