Srinagar, October 31: The Jammu and Kashmir government has issued transfer and additional-charge orders involving six senior IAS and IPS officers, effective immediately.
Shailendra Kumar, Financial Commissioner (Additional Chief Secretary), Finance, will additionally oversee the Agriculture Production Department. Anil Kumar Singh, Financial Commissioner (Additional Chief Secretary), Public Works (R&B), has been given additional charge of the Power Development Department.
Vikramjit Singh, Commissioner/Secretary, Industries and Commerce, will also serve as Administrative Secretary of the Mining Department. These additional assignments will continue until further orders.
Tariq Ali, Director General of Women and Child Development, has been transferred as Secretary in the Civil Aviation Department. Mohammad Akbar Wani, Director of Social Welfare, Kashmir, has been posted as Secretary in the Forest, Ecology and Environment Department.
Leena Padha, Registrar of Cooperative Societies, will additionally hold charge as Mission Director of the Skill Development Mission until further orders.
The changes were notified through Government Order No. 1718-JK(GAD) of 2026, dated October 31, issued by the General Administration Department and signed by Commissioner/Secretary M. Raju on the Lieutenant Governor’s orders.
