Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha and Chief Minister Omar Abdullah have extended greetings to the people of Jammu and Kashmir on the occasion of Eid-e-Milad-un-Nabi, marking the birth anniversary of Prophet Muhammad.
LG Manoj Sinha said the life and teachings of Prophet Muhammad convey a lasting message of peace, equality, compassion and universal brotherhood. He urged people to embrace these values and work towards building a harmonious, inclusive and united society.
Chief Minister Omar Abdullah also conveyed his warm wishes to the people and highlighted the importance of the Prophet’s teachings on peace, compassion, equality, tolerance and brotherhood. He called upon people to follow these principles in their daily lives and promote unity, mutual respect and service to humanity.
Omar Abdullah also prayed for peace, prosperity and well-being across Jammu and Kashmir, expressing hope that the occasion would further strengthen communal harmony and mutual understanding among people.
