New Delhi, October 24: IndiGo passengers travelling to Saudi Arabia face further disruption after the airline extended cancellations on routes serving four cities, citing the evolving security situation.
Flights to and from Riyadh will remain cancelled up to and including October 31. Services connecting Jeddah, Dammam and Madinah will remain suspended up to and including October 27, according to the airline’s advisory issued on Friday.
The airline said it was monitoring developments closely and consulting the relevant authorities before taking further decisions. It stressed that the safety of passengers and crew remained its priority.
IndiGo is notifying affected passengers using their registered booking details. Travellers have been asked to check the latest flight status on the airline’s official website before heading to the airport.
