<p><strong>New Delhi:</strong> Prime Minister Narendra Modi has expressed confidence that the upcoming BRICS Summit will lead to constructive discussions on several issues of importance to the member countries as well as the wider world.</p>
<p>Speaking ahead of the summit, Modi said the meeting comes at an important time, with countries facing a number of economic and geopolitical challenges. He said BRICS provides a useful platform for leaders to exchange views, discuss areas of common concern and look for practical ways to work together.</p>
<p>The Prime Minister said India would participate in the summit with an open and positive approach. He indicated that discussions would cover issues where greater cooperation among BRICS members could produce meaningful results.</p>
<p>Economic cooperation is expected to remain an important part of the agenda. Discussions could include trade, investment, development, technology and ways to strengthen cooperation between emerging economies.</p>
<p>Modi also underlined the growing importance of BRICS in international affairs. With the grouping representing a large share of the world’s population and economic activity, he said its discussions can contribute to shaping a more balanced approach to global challenges.</p>
<p>India, he said, will continue to support efforts aimed at strengthening cooperation among BRICS countries. The focus, according to the Prime Minister, should be on finding common ground and building partnerships that can deliver benefits for people and economies.</p>
<p>Expressing optimism about the meeting, Modi said he expected the summit to witness positive and meaningful exchanges on a range of issues. He added that India would continue to engage constructively with all BRICS partners.</p>
