Riyadh, October 19: The Indian Embassy in Riyadh has asked Indian nationals in Saudi Arabia to take precautions amid the prevailing security situation and seek shelter immediately if an aerial attack occurs.
The advisory urges people to move to the nearest safe place and avoid recording or circulating photographs, videos or information about ongoing incidents.
Embassy officials are visiting hospitals where injured Indians are undergoing treatment. They remain in contact with the patients’ families and are providing necessary assistance.
The situation continues to affect air travel. Riyadh’s international airport remains closed to flight operations, while Dammam, Jeddah and Medina airports are functioning with some disruptions.
Air India, Air India Express and IndiGo have extended the suspension of their Saudi Arabia services until October 24. Akasa Air has suspended its flights on all Saudi routes until October 27.
The embassy said Saudia is continuing scheduled services to Indian destinations from Dammam, Jeddah and Medina. Indian nationals who need to leave urgently may consider travelling through Bahrain, Kuwait or Qatar, provided they obtain the necessary visas.
