The Jammu and Kashmir government has extended the deadline for filing Annual Property Returns (APRs) by government employees by 15 days. The decision was taken in view of requests from employees seeking additional time to complete and submit their property details.
An official order issued by the administration said that the extension has been granted to ensure maximum compliance and to facilitate employees who were unable to meet the earlier deadline due to technical or procedural reasons. All concerned employees have been advised to utilise the extended period to submit their APRs without fail.
The government has reiterated that filing of Annual Property Returns is mandatory under service rules and failure to comply within the revised timeline may attract disciplinary action. Departments have also been directed to monitor compliance closely and ensure timely submission by all officials.
