-Lieutenant Governor Shri Manoj Sinha laid wreath and paid homage to Captain Brijesh Thapa, Naik D Rajesh, Sepoy Bijendra and Sepoy Ajay, who have made supreme sacrifice during anti-terror operation in Doda.
“I salute the brave warriors who displayed exemplary courage and made supreme sacrifice for the nation. The nation will never forget the sacrifice made by the gallant heroes. The entire nation stands firmly with the families of martyrs in this hour of grief,” the Lt Governor said.

Army officer among four soldiers were killed in action in the Doda district of Jammu region where security agencies are searching for militants who have carried out a wave of deadly attacks in the recent past.
According to reports that the four personnel including an Army officer succumbed to their injuries after being gravely injured in the Doda encounter.The martyrs were identified Captain Beijesh Thapa, Naik D Rajesh, Sepoy Bijendra and Sepoy Ajay.
The attack came less than a week after five Army soldiers lost their lives when a group of heavily armed militants ambushed their vehicles in the Kathua district of Jammu division.
